Responsibilities
- Lead a 10-week project to impact the business positively.
- Gain hands-on experience in electrical design, both hardware and software/firmware.
- Generate system or subsystem requirements, electrical schematics, and low complexity PCB designs.
- Deliver electrical designs from concept through validation and design transfer.
- Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes.
- Collaborate with experienced business leaders and mentors.
- Learn about the Fortive Business System and its application in shaping strategy and execution.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Hands-on experience with Digital Multimeters and mixed signal Oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of principles and practices related to product development and improvement.
- Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA during the summer.
- Demonstrated leadership and a desire to grow in a collaborative environment.
