Responsibilities

  • Lead a 10-week project to impact the business positively.
  • Gain hands-on experience in electrical design, both hardware and software/firmware.
  • Generate system or subsystem requirements, electrical schematics, and low complexity PCB designs.
  • Deliver electrical designs from concept through validation and design transfer.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes.
  • Collaborate with experienced business leaders and mentors.
  • Learn about the Fortive Business System and its application in shaping strategy and execution.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Multimeters and mixed signal Oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices related to product development and improvement.
  • Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA during the summer.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a desire to grow in a collaborative environment.
