Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for various production methods.
- Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies to assess cost drivers and quality risks.
- Lead or support tooling and equipment selection, approval, validation, and implementation.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives and drive root-cause analysis for process deviations.
- Develop and deliver training for new or updated manufacturing processes.
- Support environmental protection and compliance with safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably automotive.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine capabilities.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles and exposure to PLCs is a plus.
- Lean Manufacturing training or certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
