Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for various production methods.
  • Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies to assess cost drivers and quality risks.
  • Lead or support tooling and equipment selection, approval, validation, and implementation.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives and drive root-cause analysis for process deviations.
  • Develop and deliver training for new or updated manufacturing processes.
  • Support environmental protection and compliance with safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably automotive.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine capabilities.
  • Familiarity with GD&T principles and exposure to PLCs is a plus.
  • Lean Manufacturing training or certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
