Electrical engineer

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in the development of new medical device products and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The role involves conducting experiments, mentoring staff, and providing technical expertise to project teams.

• Provide technical support for the development of medical device products.
• Identify and initiate innovative programs for existing or new products.
• Conduct experiments and develop strategies extending beyond known engineering precedents.
• Serve as a technical expert and advisor on technology development teams.
• Mentor other employees and provide direction to project teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies and oversee prototyping of designs.
• Manage multiple sustaining projects and oversee compliance testing for medical devices.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering required.
• 12+ years of related work experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in electrical design and medical devices is preferred.
• Proficiency in schematic capture using Altium is preferred.
• Ability to conduct experiments and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to management and publishing scientific papers.
