Internship, Battery Engineering (Summer 2025)

The role is an internship position at Tesla for engineering students interested in battery engineering.

• Work on battery pack design, modeling, and materials
• Collaborate with full-time engineers on designing, prototyping, testing, and launching new parts and processes for batteries
• Push the boundaries of energy storage for vehicles and the grid

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software such as NX, Fusion360, SolidWorks
• Experience with engineering fundamentals and HV battery systems
• Previous lab R&D experience desired
• Strong technical communication skills
• Genuine curiosity about product design and operation
