Design Engineer II, Food & Beverage

The role is for a Design Engineer II at YETI, focusing on bringing consumer products to market with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and innovation.

• Manage multiple projects from ideation to production
• Translate marketing requirements to technical performance requirements
• Establish product architecture and material selection
• Create proof of principle prototypes
• Own all aspects of CAD design
• Collaborate with teams for design validation testing
• Drive IP clearance and filings

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Plastics Engineering
• 4+ years of Design Engineering experience
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
• Experience with plastics manufacturing and multi-component assemblies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of DFMEA and FEA analysis
