Launch Engineer, Dragon (Interior & Crew Operations)

SpaceX is looking for a Launch Engineer for the Dragon Maintenance team, focusing on capsule interior, parachute system, and crew operations to support human spaceflight manufacturing and re-usability.

• Own engineering deliverables for capsule interior hardware, parachute system, and crew operations
• Identify and execute process improvements across the capsule fleet
• Develop planning documents and inspection procedures
• Support launch operations for astronauts and cargo loading
• Design tools for capsule interior hardware processing
• Collaborate with engineering staff and technicians
• Manage and track project priorities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 3+ years of hardware development, manufacturing, or operations experience
• Experience with composite structures and mechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with test procedures and design analysis using CAD software
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Willingness to work with hazardous materials and pass background checks
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
