Mechanical Design Engineer, Starlink & Direct to Cell Satellites

The role is for a Mechanical Design Engineer at SpaceX working on Starlink and Direct to Cell Satellites, focusing on deploying advanced broadband internet systems.

• Own hardware from design to production for the Starlink constellation
• Develop design criteria, drive optimization, and iterate on designs
• Perform testing on hardware and validate analysis
• Manage product delivery timeline and outcomes

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience with CAD and FEA software
• 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, GD&T, and structural analysis
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to conform to U.S. Government export regulations.
