Mechanical Design Engineer (Starlink Ground Antennas)

SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for Starlink Ground Antennas, responsible for delivering internet from the ground to satellites.

• Own hardware from conceptual design through production and deployment
• Rapidly iterate on designs, analysis, and tests
• Develop design criteria and drive system-level optimization
• Establish an efficient product lifecycle
• Perform environmental and performance testing
• Demonstrate extreme ownership of product outcomes
• Work with partner teams to develop manufacturing procedures

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in designing, building, and testing hardware
• Experience with CAD and/or Finite Element Analysis software
• Experience with RF or antenna hardware design and testing
• Experience in fast-paced hardware development for high-reliability applications
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, and surface treatments for mechanical components
• Strong organizational and communication skills
