Product Design Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for a Product Design Engineer at Reality Labs, focusing on developing hardware systems for AR, VR, or New Technology Initiatives in the consumer electronics sector.

• Lead mechanical design for specific components or systems
• Contribute to mechanical solutions in a cross-functional team
• Prototype, test, and refine products
• Collaborate with supply chain and external vendors
• Push innovative mechanical solutions using state-of-the-art technologies

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of industry experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD, DFM, DFA, statistical tolerance analysis, GD&T, and 3D/2D CAD
• Knowledge of material properties and high-volume manufacturing techniques
• Experience in testing, analysis, and working with Asia-based supply chain
