Manufacturing Engineer, Staff

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer, Staff within the Precision Fires Rate Tooling team responsible for supporting rate tooling contracts for various Precision Fires programs.

• Generate Tangible Item Lists (TILs) and labor estimates
• Facilitate collaboration for make-where and make-split decisions
• Budget planning and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning
• Coordinate make site activities
• Control Account Management (CAM) and Writing Tooling Action Requests (TARs)
• Manage priorities and drive budget and schedule of Tool Design, Fabrication, and Prove-Out activities
• Report tooling status to leadership and customers

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Experience supporting the design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
• Organizational skills and ability to consolidate complex data
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
