The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer, Staff within the Precision Fires Rate Tooling team responsible for supporting rate tooling contracts for various Precision Fires programs.
Responsibilities
- Generate Tangible Item Lists (TILs) and labor estimates
- Facilitate collaboration for make-where and make-split decisions
- Budget planning and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning
- Coordinate make site activities
- Control Account Management (CAM) and Writing Tooling Action Requests (TARs)
- Manage priorities and drive budget and schedule of Tool Design, Fabrication, and Prove-Out activities
- Report tooling status to leadership and customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Experience supporting the design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
- Organizational skills and ability to consolidate complex data
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
