Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to design solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
- Own multiple projects from concept to design approval
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers
- Hand-off projects to Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning
- Engage with Ops Engineering team to ensure successful project launch
- Work on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience
- 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering
- Experience in engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Proficiency in software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD
- Master's degree preferred with 5 years of experience in related field
- Experience with automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics
- Familiarity with Lean Principles and system optimization
