Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Development

Tesla is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to develop innovative manufacturing processes for drive units, collaborating with various teams to set industry standards.

• Design automated tooling for manufacturing processes
• Develop and test new manufacturing processes
• Provide design feedback to product design engineering
• Manage procurement and deployment of automated production equipment
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction programs
• Generate and maintain machine documentations
• Quantitatively evaluate and track tool performance

• Prior experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software
• Experience with automation systems, robotics, and data collection
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with data analysis and statistics
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
