Engineer I - Mechanical

The Engineer I – Mechanical is responsible for improving current products and developing new products and components in the field of water treatment under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Design water treatment products and related components
• Analyze design problems and implement corrective actions
• Assist in developing product, component, and process specifications
• Design and fabricate test fixtures
• Write and carry out test procedures
• Interface with other departments for production
• Develop and maintain bills-of-materials

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering
• 1+ years of experience with 3-D modeling and 2-D drawing creation
• Ability to perform basic mechanical design calculations
• Understanding of common production/fabrication processes
• Knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components
• Quick learner, detail-oriented, with good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
