Staff Mechanical Product Design Engineer, Platforms

The role is for a Mechanical Engineer within Google's Platforms Team, responsible for designing and evaluating data center systems.

• Own and design product design life-cycle
• Develop and execute designs for systems
• Create test plans and validate designs
• Influence future products with engineering knowledge
• Provide engineering knowledge and mentor team members

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 8 years of experience designing mechanical components
• Experience using computer-aided design tools
• Experience in design and analysis of electro-mechanical systems
• Experience with thermal engineering fundamentals
• Experience with GPU systems and liquid cooling thermal solutions
