Electrical Designer/Engineer

The role is for an Electrical Designer/Engineer at EXP, working on Aviation, Transit, Higher Education, and Commercial Building projects in Chicago, St Louis, or Raleigh, North Carolina.

• Convert engineer’s markups into working Revit MEP drawings/models.
• Visualize systems in a 3D environment and utilize clash detection software.
• Prepare Revit floor plans showing electrical device layouts.
• Develop panel schedules and one-line diagrams.
• Coordinate device locations, loads, and circuitry with other disciplines.
• Perform lighting calculations and develop models using lighting photometric programs.
• Participate in space and utility requirements coordination.

• Engineering Degree (BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree).
• Previous Revit MEP experience.
• 0-5 years of experience.
• FE Certification working towards PE.
• Ability to travel locally.
