Mechanical Engineer (Starlink Components)

The role is for a Mechanical Engineer within the Starlink Components Test Team at SpaceX, focusing on designing and implementing test systems for satellite components.

• Design, develop, build, and implement custom equipment for testing satellite components.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to develop integrated test systems.
• Advance the factory to meet rate, development, and reliability goals.
• Solve complex problems with speed and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with CAD software and PLM/PDM software.
• Knowledge of custom machine design and electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
• Ability to perform structural analysis and design mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
