Sr. Electrical Engineer, Facilities Engineering

The role involves managing the design and construction of electrical power infrastructure projects, optimizing energy efficiency, and providing electrical engineering support for various projects at Western Digital.

• Analyzing and managing the design of industrial power systems.
• Creating Electrical Scope of Work documents.
• Monitoring power consumption trends and optimizing energy efficiency.
• Planning PV projects and performing facility systems capacity planning.
• Developing project justifications and managing project implementation.
• Providing support to Maintenance and Operations and Manufacturing teams.
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in high-tech electronics/semiconductor manufacturing.
• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Electrical Codes and Energy Codes.
• Experience in project management and electrical power systems design.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to enforce safety procedures and regulations.
