Electrical Engineer

The position is for an Electrical Engineer at Sidus, focusing on satellite subsystem design and selection.

• Prepare and manage subsystem architecture and interfaces for satellite bus system development.
• Generate requirements, specifications, and test plans.
• Document design, analysis, and test results.
• Support spacecraft integration, testing, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate engineering design packages with various teams.
• Develop system power budget and electrical system validation plan.
• Prepare and give presentations to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in satellite or spacecraft electrical power system design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and spacecraft subsystem integration.
• Knowledge of satellite system reliability, space environments, and testing.
• Experience in developing space qualified hardware.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
