Industrial Electrical Controls Engineer

The role is for an Industrial/Semiconductor/Advanced Manufacturing Electrical Controls Engineer at Farnsworth Group.

• Prepare complete and accurate Electrical and Control System construction drawings and specifications
• Develop detailed control system schematics and loop diagrams
• Manage project design budgets, schedules, and execution plans
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors to deliver automation and control system solutions
• Coordinate with and lead other production staff to deliver construction documents
• Develop and document functional control descriptions based on control requirements
• Ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute responsibilities for multiple projects

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Process, or Architectural Engineering
• Professional Engineer License (PE) strongly preferred
• 8+ years of relative Electrical and Control System Design experience
• Ability to work independently and lead others
• Experience in Advanced Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Clean Room, Water Treatment, or Life Sciences and general manufacturing a plus
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in designing automation solutions with PLC and DCS platforms
• Strong verbal and writing skills
