Electrical Test Engineering Co-op January- June 2025

The role is an electrical engineering co-op position at SPAN, a company focused on electrification and decarbonization.

• Work closely with hardware design engineers on electrical functional tests
• Perform Design for Test and provide feedback to hardware design engineers
• Create test specifications for various assemblies
• Architecture test systems and design necessary electronics
• Write software for controlling and automating test equipment
• Integrate, checkout, and validate test equipment for manufacturing partners
• Produce technical documentation for test systems

• Working towards a graduate level degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering and circuit theories
• Passion for renewable energy and energy storage
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and work well in a team
• Ability to analyze problems and derive solutions collaboratively
• Basic understanding and experience with relevant tools and software
• Bonus qualifications include prior internship experience and familiarity with renewable energy applications
