Mechanical Design Engineer

The role is for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Thomas Instrument, focusing on designing, developing, and integrating mechanical systems for aerospace applications.

• Design and integrate aircraft, weapon platforms, Ground Support Equipment, and other mechanical systems.
• Read, interpret, and create requirements documents, test plans, technical drawings, and reports.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team including Systems Engineering, Electrical Systems, and Project Engineering.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in aerospace mechanical systems and hydraulics preferred.
• Knowledge of Project Management Planning, mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, and GD&T.
• Skills in technical report analysis, research design, problem-solving, and communication.
