Mechanical Engineering Intern- Summer 2025 (Onsite)

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Mission Systems Hardware Engineering Department in Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA. The role involves supporting the design, development, and production of DoD and Government Communications Systems.

• Work on 3D CAD modelling
• Assist in electronics packaging and evaluation
• Conduct thermal, structural, or other analysis
• Design components and assemblies
• Update drawings and documentation
• Provide procurement and production support
• Assist in test and evaluation

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Experience with PTC CREO CAD tool preferred
• Proficiency in mechanical design CAD tools
• Good communication skills
• Strong interest in mechanical design process
