Mechanical Engineering Intern - Fall 2024

Teradyne is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to join their team at the Nextest Division in San Jose, CA, focusing on product development and mechanical systems.

• Assist in various areas of product development cycle
• Concept, design, analysis, documentation, and prototype assembly of mechanical systems
• Gain experience in sheetmetal packaging, mechanisms, and electronic controls systems
• Work on mechanical, AC power distribution, and controls design

• Mechanical Engineering student or equivalent with a minimum 3.5 GPA
• Experience with 3D CAD (Solidworks preferred) and electro mechanical design and assembly
• Proficiency in microcontroller programming, 3D printing, and building mechanical assemblies
• Excellent communication skills
• On-site position in San Jose, CA
