The client is looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer in LA to enhance their consumer products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality production.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components.
- Select appropriate materials and conduct material testing.
- Manage multiple projects, maintain documentation, and prepare technical reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Experience with BOMs, Part and Tool Qualification, DFMA, and FEA.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
