Electrical Engineering Internship - Summer 2025

Kairos Power is offering an internship opportunity for students to join their Electrical Engineering team in Summer 2025. The intern will assist in the design, implementation, and operation of control systems for their test reactor.

• Assist in designing and implementing control systems for the test reactor.
• Support measurement instrumentation and automated digital system process control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective integration of control systems.
• Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing control systems.
• Perform data collection, analysis, and documentation for project needs.
• Contribute to technical reports and presentations.
• Support various engineering tasks such as testing, validation, and prototyping.

• Current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated technical skills outside of the classroom setting.
• Experience with control system software and knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Prioritization of safety and ability to manage and transfer knowledge proactively.
