Responsibilities
- Take high ownership of electrical hardware from concept to operation on the lunar surface
- Define and justify electrical system requirements, conduct trade space analysis, and document decisions
- Design and build electronics for motion control, power management, and communication
- Develop test setups and perform hardware validation through various testing methodologies
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate hardware into mechanical subsystems
- Establish qualification and acceptance testing criteria following industry standards
Job Requirements
- Strong desire to contribute to establishing humanity off-Earth
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or significant professional experience in electrical systems design
- 3-10 years of experience in designing and building electronics
- Excellent communication skills
- Post-graduate degree and experience in avionics hardware for space applications preferred
- Ability to work on rapid timelines and demonstrate extreme ownership
- Must meet U.S. Government export regulations for employment eligibility
