College Intern - Customer Metering Services

The job is an internship opportunity at SRP, a public power and water utilities company in Arizona, focusing on assisting Engineers and Engineering Technicians in metering test cases and designs related to the AMI network.

• Assist Engineers in setting up and performing metering test cases, electrical designs, and programming of meters
• Assist Engineering Technicians in daily operations tasks, reports, and research of meters on the AMI network
• Learn both the operations and engineering side of metering as it relates to the AMI network

• College level coursework from an accredited institution
• Pursuing a degree within electrical engineering is preferred
• Enrolled in a minimum of six college credits per semester
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
