Manufacturing Engineer

The position is a Senior Overhaul Manufacturing Engineer role at Caterpillar Inc. in DeSoto, TX, focusing on maintaining product responsibility for detailed parts and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment.

• Troubleshoot day-to-day process problems and evaluate solutions
• Provide technical leadership for Engineering Technicians
• Maintain detailed part/sub-assembly integrity
• Implement Enterprise Change Requests and Shop Floor Information System setup
• Support various technical activities such as test reject investigations and non-conforming material dispositioning
• Assist in Overhaul Inspection Standards and Operation’s Value Streams

• Bachelor's or two-year degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience, or 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong language and communication skills
