Intern, Manufacturing Engineering General Assembly, Summer 2025

Lucid Motors is seeking a highly motivated intern to join the General Assembly Manufacturing Engineering Team for a summer internship, focusing on manufacturing engineering tasks related to tooling & equipment launch, process development, and robotic automation cells.

• Develop new manufacturing processes for product and industrial projects
• Create specifications for general assembly tooling and equipment
• Work on detailed design of new equipment with integrators
• Create work instructions for new products and processes
• Commission a pilot line for upcoming product launches
• Create virtual builds in CATIA and DELMIA
• Design efficient layouts in AutoCAD

• Pursuing BS/MS/ME in Mechanical Engg, Manufacturing Engg, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience or internship in the automotive industry preferred
• Interest in general assembly automation cells
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
