SPAN is looking for an intuitive and multidisciplinary power electronics engineering intern to work on developing power converter platforms for electrification products.
Responsibilities
- Support evaluation, testing, and design of power converters
- Create schematics and layouts using Altium Designer
- Conduct circuit and power electronics modeling and simulation
- Build prototypes, validate electronics, and power electronics
- Support lab test setups and data analysis
- Collaborate with internal and external teams
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of electronics, circuits, and power electronics fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in lab work and PCBAs
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with testing and debugging electronics at high voltages
- Experience with simulation tools and Python is a bonus
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university
