Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Intern for their MEP group in Boston, MA, to work on various projects in a dynamic consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on diverse projects, including commercial building HVAC design.
- Perform technical calculations such as pressure drop, duct sizing, and pipe sizing.
- Conduct field surveys to gather data for design projects.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians.
- Engage in hands-on design of HVAC systems.
- Prepare equipment layouts and designs using AutoCAD.
- Assist in cost estimating for mechanical systems.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs.
- Class project work related to MEP fields preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.
