Entry-level Test Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

A.W. Chesterton is seeking a professional engineer to perform tests on mechanical seals, packing, pumps, and conceptual devices, working closely with the R&D team and contributing to new product introduction.

• Design specialized mechanical, machine, and/or electrical test equipment.
• Configure and administer laboratory Data Acquisition System.
• Perform tests, interpret data, and document results.
• Utilize spreadsheets and database software for Marketing and Sales support.
• Prepare equipment justifications and proposals.
• Troubleshoot field products and support field personnel and customers.
• Present test results and technical reports to the Engineering group.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience with instrumentation and data collection methods preferred.
• Enthusiasm to learn new skills in a hands-on environment.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct laboratory tests and analyze technical data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, electronics, and equipment design principles.
