Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

The role is for an Instrument and Electrical Engineering Specialist within the Global Engineering group located at Bayway. The position involves developing and reviewing equipment designs for projects, specifying instrument, analyzer, and electrical equipment, coordinating with various teams, and contributing to maintenance best practices.

• Conduct business in a safe manner and promote IA&E best practices for safety.
• Lead IA&E project teams, provide engineering expertise, and address equipment reliability issues.
• Support the development of project documents and technical specifications for equipment selection and sizing.
• Review vendor documentation and perform QA/QC checks.
• Provide expertise on codes and regulations, assist in spare part strategies, and participate in bad actor programs.
• Offer technical guidance to maintenance, review equipment specifications, and support preventative maintenance practices.
• Seek out cost savings and reliability enhancement opportunities.

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, analyzers, Safety Instrumented Systems, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, hazardous area classification, and vendor/contractor management.
• Experience with SAP and instrumentation communication protocols.
