Sr. Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

The role involves designing fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally, utilizing automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions.
• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval.
• Act as the primary technical contact for suppliers.
• Support Ops Engineering team during installation and commissioning.
• Work on green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits projects.
• Work in a fast-paced environment on high-impact projects.
• Work with a team of skilled engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in ownership/management of engineering design projects.
• Proficiency in software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
• Master's degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in the specialty.
• Experience with automated material handling equipment, robotics, and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in process design and Lean Principles.
