Mechanical Engineer I

The company specializes in providing innovative solutions for manufacturers in the life sciences and food and beverage industries. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer at an entry-level position to work on design and engineering of building support systems.

• Interface with client and external partners
• Support basic design and lay-out of mechanical systems
• Assist in preparation of deliverables
• Conduct field investigations to integrate design with existing systems
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers
• Work on matters of fundamental complexity
• Self-check work and work on multiple projects

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a design firm setting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred
• Experience with performing engineering calculations and developing HVAC systems
• Ability to conduct field surveys and coordinate with team members
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical utility and piping systems designs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
