Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment
- Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus
- Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Maintain accurate records on material and labor used
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Complete repairs as requested on work orders
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of electrical services training
- Texas driver’s license
- Experience working in a public school environment
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and motor principles
- Ability to follow instructions and perform mathematical calculations
- Experience in the electrical field is preferred
