Thermal Engineer

Atomos Space is developing and operating Orbital Transfer Vehicles (OTVs) for in-space mobility and electric propulsion.

• Own thermal system analysis and management.
• Define system requirements and collaborate with other teams.
• Automate workflows and pursue operational simplicity.
• Conduct "test like you fly" qualification testing.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong understanding of thermal and fluid mechanics.
• Experience with Thermal Desktop and thermal management systems.
• Ability to lead technical trades and develop drawing packages.
• Expertise in engineering tools and resource budgeting.
• Experience in spacecraft-level test campaigns and vendor management.
• Knowledge of governing documentation and export control laws.
