Intern Engineer - Civil, Electrical - Summer 2025

The position is for intern engineers at HNTB's Los Angeles and LAX Airport Offices in various areas such as Aviation, Roadway, Transit/Rail, Transit Systems, CM, and Structures for Summer 2025.

• Assist engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assist Engineer with research, development, and design of projects.
• Assist Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary Civil or Electrical engineering program preferred.
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience preferred.
