Manufacturing Engineer Intern - Summer 2025

The role is within the Manufacturing team at Relativity Space, focusing on building the factory of the future to support the development and production of the Terran R rocket.

• Define and establish an optimized product flow through the Factory
• Lead efforts in setting up key Factory capabilities
• Drive the development of business tools and processes for manufacturing the launch vehicle
• Define and pilot ERP, MES, and QMS solutions for efficient vehicle manufacturing

• BS or MS in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering
• Interest in manufacturing execution systems and quality management systems
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and problem-solving
• Balancing a scrappy attitude with a vision for long-term processes
• Prior aerospace experience not required
