Processing Lead Technician – Electrical Test, Kuiper Launch Operations

The position involves working on Project Kuiper, an initiative to provide global broadband access through a satellite constellation in low Earth orbit. The role focuses on processing satellites at launch sites to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with requirements.

• Adhere to safety requirements and procedures in work locations.
• Assemble and test Kuiper satellites using ground systems in a controlled environment.
• Verify satellite health using computer-controlled equipment.
• Assign tasks to team members and ensure production schedules are met.
• Use precision tools, perform hardware movement operations, and follow engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers for documentation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure an efficient work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in spaceflight hardware testing and assembly.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Able to obtain and maintain a US Passport and meet customs entry requirements.
• Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background check.
• Experience as a team or task lead preferred.
• Ability to work with electrically energized systems and in a fast-paced processing environment.
