Power Systems Engineering Intern (Available June 2025)

The role at Arup is an internship opportunity for individuals pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to electrical, power systems, or renewable energy.

• Design and analyze decarbonized energy systems
• Assist in the design and simulation of electrical power systems
• Perform various power system studies
• Responsible for the design of solar facilities and substation
• Perform engineering and design calculations
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
• Assist with documentation and organization of project data

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline
• Basic knowledge of power systems and renewable energy technologies
• Familiarity with relevant software tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical mindset
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Presentation skills and ability to prioritize effectively
