Power Systems Engineering Intern (Available June 2025)

Arup is offering an internship opportunity for individuals pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to electrical, power systems, or renewable energy. The role involves designing and analyzing decarbonized energy systems, assisting in electrical power system simulations, and staying updated on industry trends.

• Design and analyze decarbonized energy systems.
• Assist in the design and simulation of electrical power systems.
• Perform various power system studies.
• Responsible for the design of solar facilities and substations.
• Assist with documentation and organization of project data.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Adhere to instructions and learn from experience.

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of power systems and renewable energy technologies.
• Familiarity with software tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, SKM.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and exceptional organization skills.
• Presentation skills and analytical mindset.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
