Mechanical Engineering Intern (Available June 2025)

Arup is seeking graduates to work on sustainable design of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services within the built environment.

• Design HVAC services with a focus on sustainable design.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants for integrated solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis and modelling for energy efficiency.
• Document system design in Revit MEP.
• Communicate technical ideas through various formats.
• Write reports documenting calculation methods and results.
• Prioritize effectively and influence sustainable outcomes for clients.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Coursework in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or HVAC design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership experience and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree, internship experience, and membership in relevant organizations.
