Project Engineer

The client in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Project Engineer II for New Product Development Programs.

• Technical proposals and design of customer Line Replacement Units (LRUs).
• Development part fabrication technical support.
• Qualification/certification testing through Entry-into-Service (EIS).
• Sustaining engineering efforts.
• Provide technical leadership within the Integrated Product Development Team.
• Develop and maintain project Master Schedule aligned with customer milestones.
• Conduct project status and process presentations for leadership and external customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-8+ years of experience in metallic or composite ducting and motion compensator design.
• Experience in ECS, bleed air, or AMS system design in various industries.
• Knowledge of valves, heat exchangers, turbo machinery, fuel tank inert systems, etc.
• Experience with sheet metal and/or composite manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in FEA/FEM tools, CAD software, and LabVIEW data acquisition/control.
• Ability to read/support the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings per ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards.
