Control Systems Engineer, Machine Learning, Data Centers

The role is within the Data Center Engineering team at Google, focusing on optimizing data center efficiency and performance through the development of new algorithms and control systems.

• Research and develop new algorithms for optimizing data center efficiency.
• Design and implement control algorithms for managing electrical and mechanical stability.
• Analyze and recommend approaches for managing electromechanical systems within a data center.
• Conduct statistical analysis and develop Machine Learning algorithms for pattern recognition.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement strategies and algorithms in the technology system.

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing control systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C, Python, MATLAB.
• Experience with Machine Learning and algorithm construction.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-discipline teams.
