Sr. Backend Engineer

Sprig is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Data Team, responsible for backend architecture, data ingestion, processing, and storage systems to ensure platform reliability and performance.

• Enable customer insights through implementing and optimizing features for event-based targeting systems.
• Provide technical leadership on projects and ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for backend systems integration.
• Stay updated with latest technologies and integrate them into systems.
• Manage databases for data integrity and security.
• Enhance platform scalability and performance by developing robust backend systems.

• 5+ years of software engineer experience.
• Proficiency in technologies like Redis, Kubernetes, Postgres, etc.
• Ability to write high-quality code using Node.js or Golang.
• Strong communication skills and a quick learner.
• Experience with low latency high volume data stores is a plus.
