Mechanical Engineering Co-op - Summer/Fall 2025 (On-Site)

The Collins Aerospace Mission Systems Integrated Strategic Solutions (ISSE) engineering team is seeking co-ops for summer and fall of the 2025 year to participate in the design, development, and test of electronic equipment for communication systems on military aircraft.

• Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.
• Produce models for components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.
• Execute tests for systems, subsystems, and components.
• Analyze test results and communicate effectively in a cross-functional team.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software preferred.
• Familiarity with ANSYS or other mechanical analysis software is a plus.
