Electrical Engineer

The role involves working within GenScript Corporation on the development, optimization, and deployment of a proprietary semiconductor array-based DNA synthesis platform.

• Design digital circuits and embedded software for instrument and semiconductor chip control in DNA synthesis applications.
• Program ARM based embedded microcontrollers and develop applications on FreeRTOS.
• Design and support embedded software/firmware systems for hardware product development.
• Develop microcontroller-based hardware for products involving fluidic monitoring and high-speed serial communications.

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in product or instrument development.
• Proficiency in C and Java programming languages.
• Experience with PCB layout and analog circuit simulation tools.
• Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with fluidic handling instrumentation.
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
