The role involves ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, meeting ISO 9001 standards, and reporting to the Director of Technical & Quality Systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System
- Conduct audits and participate in external audits
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Perform calibration and MSA of measuring systems
- Investigate and report quality issues
- Coordinate weekend coverage and train personnel
- Complete assigned reports and projects
Job Requirements
- Experience with ISO 9001 standard
- Six Sigma Green Belt required
- 2+ years of quality/process engineering experience in manufacturing
- Competency in SPC, MSA, Auditing, and Calibration
- Familiarity with lean tools and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel 10 - 15%
