Commaris is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join their UAS team in Woburn, MA.
Responsibilities
- Design electronic components for UAS systems
- Assist in testing and integration of UAS
- Perform board-level design and simulation
- Specify mechanical requirements and design aircraft cable systems
- Write and maintain electrical system documents
- Execute test plans and oversee design verification
- Participate in flight testing of prototype aircraft
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- 3-5 years of relevant electrical development experience
- Proficiency in analog and digital design
- Experience with component specification and procurement processes
- Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Altium Designer and FAA Remote Pilot Certificate preferred
